My name is Laura Groft. I am currently a student at Liberty University Online, pursuing my Bachelor’s in Strategic Communications: Social Media Management with a minor in Biblical Studies.
I have been serving within the social media field for over three years now with Word of Life Church in Greensburg, PA. I capture, create, and produce content for various ministries. I have had the opportunity to work and train among various professionals who are at the top of their field and even Emmy Award winners weekly. My main ministry is their youth group where I create promotional and recap videos, photography, photo/video editing, graphics, posts, captions. I am also a youth leader who mentors, teaches, and does life with the students who come through our doors.
I believe what I get to do is more than pictures and videos. Within each creation, there is a testimony; a beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness and love in each and every picture and collectively. Something only God can build and people only He can bring together.
Time with families and friends is priority and I cannot pass up a sunny day on the lake in the summer or snowy day on the mountains in the winter. I can likely be found a few different places: church, the lake, the mountains, or Pittsburgh Penguins hockey games.
